A meeting was held with the representatives of the European Union-Georgian civil society platform in the conference hall of the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation. The participants, from the perspective of young people, talked about the challenges of Georgia’s integration into the European Union and discussed the problems that young people face in the civil space. For example: social situation, labour market failure, etc.
The importance of the involvement of young people in the process of integration into the European Union was also emphasized at the meeting. In the question-and-answer mode, both the problems and the ways to solve them were highlighted.
Representatives of Georgian Trade Unions Confederation, Solidarity Center, Economic and Social Committee, European Trade Union Confederation, Eastern Cooperation Civil Society Forum, European Economic and Social Committee Secretariat, Europena Business association, Human Rights Protection Center and Student Parliament attended the meeting.
