GTUC responds to the US State Department’s `Human Rights Report 2016`

Georgian Trade Unions Confederation (GTUC) responds to the US State Department’s `Human Rights Report 2016`and calls upon the Georgian Government, non-governmental sector as well as the broader society in order to carry out drastic measures aimed at altering and improving the current stance in labor market nowadays. Full-fledged establishment of international labor standards in Georgia will enhance protection of human rights and freedoms, boost up the employment rate and ultimately, have a tangible positive effect over the economic growth of the country.
