Representatives of the Georgian Trade Unions Confederationand its branch organizations was attended an online meetingheld by the Ukrainian Trade Unions where discussed previous period of Russia-Ukraine war, challenges, priorities and support and thus once again expressing their solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people and working people.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine (FPU) and the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine (KVPU) presented the activity of the period of war in the form of video and slides. they talked about the lost of trade union organizations and millions of jobs, their own citizens who become migrants and to the occupied territories. They also once again thanked the partner organizations, including Georgian Trade Unions Confederation for their support and cooperation.
Representatives of the International Trade Union Confederation ITUC, European Trade Union Confederation ETUC, ILOACTRAV Bureau of Workers’ Activities of the International Labour Organization and trade union representatives of various countries gave supportive speeches at the meeting.
