Organized by the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation and supported by the International Labour Organization, a three – day conference: ”Strategic Communication for trade Unions in times and beyond” – was held.
Trade union leaders and Communication Managers from different countries shared the experiences of their organizations and have discussed ways to overcome crises.
Separate sessions were devoted to the cases of Georgia and Ukraine.
The conference was conducted interestingly, in the mode of question- answer and presentations.
Mamadu Kaba Suare the Head of the communication and publication department of the Workers’s Activities Bureau of International Labour Organization, offered interesting practical work to the participants of the conference.
In the conference, the Executive Secretary of the Pan-European Regional Council –Anton Leppik, the Head of the Europe and Central Asia Division of the Bureau of Workers’ Activities of the International Labour Organization – Sergius Glowatskas, the Senior Specialist of the Office of Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Bureau of Workers’ Activitiies of the International Labour Organization – Gocha Alexandria and the leaders and representatives of trade union organizations of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgkystan participated.
