Irakli Petriashvili, President of the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation, went for the trip for an official visit. He will hold formal and informal meetings with European colleagues, politicians and Trade Union partners on Georgia’s EU candidate status.
On March 7, Irakli Petriashvili, as a titular member of the General Council of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and President of the Pan-European Regional Council, will take part in the General Council of the International Trade Union Confederation.
On March 9, he will chair a meeting of the Pan-European Regional Council (PERC) where they will discuss the situation in Ukraine. At his request, the current events in Ukraine, as well as the issue of nominating Ukraine as an EU candidate together with Georgia and Moldova will be discussed at the meeting and a relevant decision will be made.
