The interests of illegally dismissed Roza Nachkebia were protected before the court by the Union of Communication Workers. Ms. Nachkebia worked as a service center operator in Zugdidi branch of LLC Georgian Post. She was illegally dismissed by the order of the General Director of LLC, Mr. Levan Chikvaidze.
By the ruling of the Supreme Court dated August 10th, 2016, LLC Georgian Post was ordered to reinstate Roza Nachkebia in her position and also compensate her for the loss of remuneration in the amount of GEL 20,000.
However, after the seemingly reinstatement, by the order of the Director of Georgian Post Levan Chikvaidze, Roza Nachkhebia was again illegally dismissed from the held position. The Union of Communication Workers immediately filed a new lawsuit to the court.
On 25th of July 2018, the Senaki District Court fully upheld the claim of the Union of Communication Workers and ordered LLC Georgian Post to reinstate Roza Nachkebia to her position the second time, as well as compensate her for the loss of remuneration in the amount of GEL 12,000 as of today.
The rights of claimant were protected before the court by Suliko Mashia, the Chairman of Trade Union of Communication Workers.
It is noteworthy that by the court rulings entered into force as of today, the Georgian Post has been imposed to compensate more than 1 million 400 thousand GEL for the loss of remuneration to the illegally dismissed workers.
It is unfortunate that the company itself, as well as the state budget have to suffer due to arbitrary actions and incompetence of the company’s Director Levan Chikvaidze.
